Morphy Auctions will hold its semiannual Coin-Op and Antique Advertising sale Oct. 16–18 in Las Vegas, featuring 1,672 lots of vintage vending, arcade, gambling and advertising collectibles, according to a press release.
Leading the auction is a rare circa-1911 Mills 5-cent Totem token gum-vending trade stimulator, estimated at $100,000 to $200,000. The floor-model device is believed to be the only surviving example of its kind, complete with original components and decals.
Other highlights include a 1906 Victor Novelty Works musical upright slot machine, valued at $30,000 to $60,000, and an original 5-cent Grandmother's Predictions fortune teller arcade machine, estimated at up to $30,000.
The event also features reverse-painted glass advertising signs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including pieces from the American Brewing Company and California Brewing Company.
Bidders can participate in person, by phone or online through Morphy's digital platform.
