Employees at Monogram Foods, a manufacturer of packaged snacks in Martinsville, Virginia, will be tested for COVID-19 this week and will remain home for 48 to 72 hours until the test results are returned, according to an article in the Martinsville Bulletin. Following the testing, the company will perform a sanitation process of all operating areas and common areas, according to Sally Vaughan, communications coordinator at Monogram Foods.

The company is installing barriers between employees in certain areas and providing improved face masks and face shields.

The family of one company employee filed complaints with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration that the company was taking significant safety measures.

Vaughn told the newspaper the company has implemented oversight on risk reduction and mitigation, and that less than 1% of 650 team memers at the facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
