Mondelez to invest $122 million in Virginia facility, add 80 jobs

Mondelēz International Inc., plans to invest $122.5 million in its Henrico County, Virginia supply chain operations over a three-year period, according to an Augusta Free Press report.
The company will invest in a 68,000-square-foot expansion of its Richmond Biscuit Bakery, to house a modern Oreo production line.

The company will also open a sales fulfillment center near the bakery scheduled to open in 2022, creating about 80 new jobs.
