Mondelēz seeks to acquire South African snack producer

Mondelēz International Inc. is negotiating with South African food company AVI to acquire its Snackworks division, according to an Independent Online report.

Snackworks biscuit brands include Pyotts, Bakers, Provita and Baumann.
