Mondelēz names Laura Stein EVP/general counsel

Mondelēz International named Laura Stein executive vice president and general counsel of corporate and legal affairs, effective Jan. 11, according to a press release.

Stein will report directly to Dirk Van de Put, chairman and CEO, and will be a member of the Mondelēz International Leadership Team. She will replace Gerd Pleuhs, who will retire after more than 35 years with the company at the end of April following a transition period.

Stein currently is a director of Franklin Resources Inc. a global investment organization known as Franklin Templeton Investments and Canadian National Railway Co.
