The Missouri Department of Agriculture has issued a consumer alert to advise consumers that the Corn Xpress Bulk Corn Vending Machine is not-legal-for-trade in the state, according to a kttn.com report. The machine dispenses agricultural products such as corn, protein pellets, wheat and rock salt.
The department's weights, measures and consumer protection team has attempted since November 2018 to find a resolution with the company.
The machines, made in Missouri, have been removed from service in Jackson, Advance, Sikeston and Wappapallo for not meeting state standards. The machines have also been removed from service in other states.
