MONTREAL, QC, Canada -- Game studio Minority Media has announced a distribution agreement with Betson Enterprisesfor multiplayer virtual reality attractions in the amusement industry. Minority Media is the developer of the space-efficient four-player Chaos Jump VR platform.
Betson will be responsible for installation and tier-one support of Chaos Jump VR attractions, and will promote Chaos Jump to the company's customers as a turnkey, small-footprint VR solution for amusement locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Betson also offers Chaos Jump financing options that range from a 12-month program at 4.99% to longer-term programs -- up to 60 months -- at 6.99% with deferred payment options.

x 12' – 144 sq.ft., 13.38 sq.m. – Chaos Jump is half the size of comparable VR systems, accelerating return on investment. Its dramatic styling, including dynamic LED lighting on the floor, a stylish centerpiece (the "Dimensional Portal") and illuminated columns, attract spectators and inspire new players. Large monitors capture attention with live leaderboard rankings and gameplay broadcasts.
The manufacturer reports that operator response to Chaos Jump has been enthusiastic. "Chaos Jump, with its small footprint and amazing curb appeal, is a great addition to our arcade area," noted David Larson, owner of Autobahn Speedway (Columbia, MD). "Its awesome gameplay keeps people coming back for more."
The company recently released Reclaim!, a competitive multiplayer virtual reality game for players aged 10 years and older, which joined the company's first VR game -- another family-friendly title, Chaos Jump -- which is suitable for children six years or more of age.
