Minnesota donut truck debuts donut vending machine

The Donut Trap, a St. Paul, Minnesota donut truck, has introduced a donut vending machine in St. Paul's Midway neighborhood at 755 Prior Avenue N., according to a kare11.com report. The machine, which uses an elevator mechanism for dispensing the donuts, can hold about 100 donuts and features five to six flavors per week with additional varieties on the weekend.

Selling for $4, cake donuts have a shelf life of two days while square donuts, which typically appear on the weekends, have a shelf life of six or seven hours.
