Mikesells snack company closes after more than a century

Mikesells, a Dayton, Ohio-based snack manufacturer since 1910, has decided to close up shop, according to a local112.com report.

A company spokesperson said it is liquidating its assets and will "transition all Mikesell's brand and IP rights to another quality snack food manufacturer, as soon as possible."

The company will discontinue its manufacturing, distribution and administrative operations while seeking to allow for uninterrupted product supply.
