Middleby acquires dough mixing manufacturer

The Middleby Corp. has acquired Escher Mixers, a Vicenza, Italy-based manufacturer of spiral and planetary mixers for the industrial baking industry, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.

With annual revenues of $15 million, Escher provides automated solutions for pre-dough mixing processes for the artisanal bread and pastry industries.
