Mickey Truck Bodies, which serves the convenience services industry, will upgrade its van body operations to support its growth, according to a press release. The plan covers two company-owned buildings that will be fully operational in the first quarter of 2022 and will be dedicated to van body assembly, finishing and chassis prep.

The company expects to hire over 60 people within two years of both buildings being up and running. The two buildings total more than 72,000 square feet. The 55,280-square-foot building was purchased two years ago and has been used to manufacture composite panels for van bodies. An upfitted portion of the building will be designed for van assembly. A recently purchased 17,280-square-foot building is currently vacant and will be upfitted for van body finishing and chassis prep.
