Mcliff Coffee Vending Pacts With Vendwatch For Vendmine Management Solutions

AUSTIN, TX -- Mcliff Coffee and Vending has announced an agreement with Vendwatch Telematics to use the latter's Vendmine Intelligent Vending solutions at all its branches.

Mcliff is a leading Texas full-line vending operation with branches in Austin, Dallas, Houston, El Paso, San Antonio and surrounding areas. According to Mcliff operations vice-president Ray Leydecker, the Vendmine product family enables the company to consolidate routes while reducing vehicle and labor expenses. The Vendmine VM Pay cashless payment service also provides increased sales and an additional source of revenue.

Mcliff conducted a pilot test of Vendmine at its Austin branch early this year, designating a 125-machine route for the trial. Results were almost immediate, said assistant branch manager Yvette Garcia.

"We quickly began running out of machines that truly needed to be visited, once we launched Vendmine for this route," she reported. "We responded by pulling machines from other routes and adding them to the pilot route. The Vendmine products gave us the opportunity to grow route sizes and reduce our total number of routes. It has been a domino effect since we started."

During the Vendmine trial period, Mcliff learned the importance of "intelligent" vending to its operating efficiency and bottom line. "We want all our routes to be online and optimized like this pilot by the end of this year," Leydecker said.

Mcliff plans to roll out Vendmine at all its branches over the next six months. When the project is complete, more than 6,000 machines will be connected with Vendmine, making Mcliff one of the largest operators in Texas with intelligent vending deployed on its machines.
