McLane names first vp/retailfoodservice

McLane Co. Inc. has named its first vice president of retail foodservice, Jon Cox, who brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across retail, grocery and convenience store organizations, according to a press release.

Prior to joining McLane, Cox served as the chief merchandising officer for Getgo Café + Market, the c-store business of Giant Eagle Inc. He also brings experience from Giant Food and HEB.

McLane's newly enhanced retail solution for convenience stores will include beverage programs, commissary products like fresh sandwiches and salads, and meals for all day parts.
