McDonald's Meats in Clear Lake, Minnesota has unveiled a 24/7 meat vending machine, according to a WJON news report.
"We can't be open 24 hours a day," co-Owner Jennifer Dierkes told the news outlet, explaining the reason behind the innovative addition.
The vending machine, which houses about 80 items, is accessible through the store's new entry vestibule, features a combination of freezer and refrigerator units connected to a touchscreen ordering system. Customers can use credit or debit cards to purchase a variety of McDonald's Meats' most popular products, priced the same as in-store.
The investment in both refrigerated and frozen vending has been a game-changer, said Dierkes. "This is the first of its kind...where there's the frozen connected to the three refrigerated because that's the largest footprint available as a standalone," she told the news outlet.
