ORLANDO, FL -- MC Global Games (Queensland, Australia) will exhibit a new attendant-free, self-cleaning cotton candy vending machine at the IAAPA Expo. Called Cotton Candy World, it will be on display in the Gold Standard Games booth (#1911) at the Orange County Convention Center here.
Doing the honors for MC Global at the show will be industry veteran Paul Jacobs, newly appointed vice-president of business development.
Cotton Candy World is the result of a three-year design effort by MC Global owner Ray McGowan. It features an attraction-generating top display and vends non-sticky, dry fluffy cotton candy in 70 seconds. Its vend door remains closed and locked during the floss-making process, then unlocks until the finished floss is removed.
The small-footprint cabinet is made of zinc-coated Australian steel with an eye-catching pink powdercoat finish and eye-catching graphics.
The new machine currently is operating in a number of family entertainment centers in Australia, producing an ROI in less than 20 weeks. The head engineer of one FEC chain claims that the machine is so well-built that it has the potential to earn on location for 20 years or more, Jacobs said.
Because it self-cleans, requires no attendant and has extensive built-in wireless telemetry that reports operational errors and low inventory of sugar or sticks and sales and audit information, it is ideal for operators to place in all types of street locations in addition to traditional FECs, bowling centers, cinemas and similar destinations, Jacobs said.
McGowan and Jacobs invite everyone to stop by the Gold Standard Games booth to view the Cotton Candy World close up.
