Mars to build $237M Natures Bakery facility in Utah, add 190 jobs

Mars Inc. will invest $237 million in a 339,000-square-foot baking facility for Nature's Bakery in Salt Lake City and add more than 190 jobs, according to a press release.

Nature's Bakery, owned by Mars Inc., bakes snacks that are plant-based, dairy-free, nut-free and non-GMO Project Verified.

"As a self-manufacturer, this facility joins our existing bakeries to reflect our commitment to innovation and quality and underscores our confidence in the thriving business environment of Utah," Steve Gardiner, CEO of Nature's Bakery, said in the press release.
