CORONOA, CA -- AVT Inc. said its Marley Coffee-branded vending machines will be installed at several U.S. Marine Corps bases throughout the country. The machine manufacturer's new contract with the Corps reportedly includes installations at 29 Palms, Miramar, San Diego, Parris Island and Camp Allen.
AVT placed a Marley Coffee vending machine at a Quantico Marine Base in Virginia, last May, which is managed and serviced by Black Tie Services (Baltimore). That machine's success led to the order for placement on the additional bases, according to AVT.
Marley Coffee Inc. and AVT in April 2012 entered a licensing partnership through which Corona, CA-based AVT creates Marley-branded specialty coffee vending machines.
AVT said the coffee machines will begin shipping this summer and will be managed by Automated Retail Income Development Inc., an independent investment fund that raises capital from investors to purchase AVT's vending machines featuring Marley Coffee. The machines are delivered to regional operators throughout the country, who install equipment and provide daily service.
