Marco Beverage Systems teams with La Colombe Coffee Roasters on cold brew solution

Marco Beverage Systems has teamed with La Colombe Coffee Roasters to introduce a cold brew coffee solution, according to a press release.

La Colombe's ready to drink, shelf stable, bag-in-box cold brew, combined with Marco's Pour'D cold coffee dispenser system, reduces the entry barrier for operators who are hesitant to move into the cold brew business, Matt Dudley, sales director, North America at Marco Beverage Systems, said in the press release.

The major convenience for operators revolves around the elimination of dealing with cumbersome kegs.

"From the very beginning, we've moved away from kegs," said Chris Kenny, director of sales, national accounts and foodservice, at La Colombe Coffee Roasters. "The bag-in-box is the same product that we actually use in our cafes. We can control the process from the bean all the way to your cup as a cold brew."
