Maine self-serve restaurant debuts featuring vending machines

Fotogo, a restaurant where customers pick their meals from vending machines, is slated to open today in Wells, Maine, according to a seacoastline.com report.
The store, located in a formerly abandoned restaurant, features machines that customers can open by inserting their credit or debit card and pick from a selection of sandwiches, quinoa bowls, whole meals, beverages and more. Clean Eats Kitchen will be the main vendor.
There is also a coffee machine that offers a variety of hot beverages that will be available on the honor system; customers will leave money after serving themselves.
The restaurant will have an "Instagram-able Wall" where customers can pose for pictures to post on social media.
Owner Marina DeMarco said she hopes to make Fotogo a franchise.
