Main Event Expansion Continues With Opening Of Second Arizona FEC

AVONDALE, AZ -- Main Event Entertainment has opened of its second Phoenix-area location. Located in the Park 10 development in the Maricopa county suburb of Avondale, the new 58,000-sq.ft. facility is the entertainment chain's 23rd location nationwide.

Similar to other Main Events, the new location has a 26-lane bowling center, a multi-level laser tag arena and a gravity ropes course suspended over arcade games. Dining options include a chef-inspired menu, specialty pizzas and a full bar serving innovative cocktails, wines, and craft and local beers.

"The new Main Event in Avondale is a boost for the city and the Southwest Valley community in terms of jobs, entertainment and tourism," said Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce president John Safin. "We're grateful to have Main Event in the city of Avondale, and we know this new entertainment option will enhance our already high quality of life."

The Park 10 development is a mixed-use 43-acre project that includes retail space, offices and casual dining options.

Main Event opened its first Arizona location in Tempe in 2014. Expansion plans for the first half of 2016 include Main Event openings in Fort Worth, TX; Louisville, KY; Albuquerque, NM; and Cincinnati, OH.

Headquartered in Dallas, Main Event Entertainment is a subsidiary of Australia's Ardent Leisure Group. Founded in 1998, the company operates family entertainment complexes ranging in size from 48,000 to 75,000 square feet.
