DALLAS -- Main Event Entertainment's new North Fort Worth location marks the company's sixth hometown location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Located at 2601 Presidio Vista Dr. in the newly opened Presidio Towne Crossing development, it is the first Main Event venue offering a zip line attraction. The 49,000-sq.ft. venue also has 22 contemporary bowling lanes, a multilevel laser tag arena, ropes course, restaurants, and more than 100 interactive and virtual games. TVs are placed throughout the center to ensure that visitors can catch sports and music events.
"Adding our sixth center in our home market of Dallas-Fort Worth is an important part of our growth plan," said Main Event chief executive Charlie Keegan, who describes Main Event as the pioneer of bowling-anchored entertainment.
Keegan said Main Event is contributing to the economic development in communities in which it opens; its FECs typically provide more than 100 full-time and hourly jobs to young people. The DFW facility is the company's 24th U.S. location. Other new stores are scheduled to open in Louisville, KY, Albuquerque, NM, and Cincinnati, OH, over the next three months.
Main Event Entertainment is a subsidiary of Australia's Ardent Leisure Group.
