Lincoln Foodservice Equipment to launch Louisiana production site, add 99 jobs

Lincoln Foodservice Equipment, a Welblit brand company that supplies commercial foodservice equipment, has launched a U.S. operations center at Welbilt's existing site in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, according to a press release.

The project will add 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space to Welbit's current Caddo Parish facility, which manufactures foodservice products for its Frymaster brand. The additional space will support the production of Lincoln Foodservice brand ovens for industry customers nationwide.

The $2.3 million investment will create 99 jobs with average annual salaries of more than $50,000, according to the Louisiana Economic Development, which also said the project will result in 137 indirect jobs, for a total of 236 potential jobs.
