DALLAS -- Making its debut this month, High Five is the newest arcade game from LAI Games designed for kids and families. According to the manufacturer, High Five offers the same adrenaline-charged gameplay as Speed of Light, LAI's popular redemption game for kids introduced about four years ago.
A two-player game, High Five not only provides a wholesome, reflex-oriented experience for kids, it also boasts an easy gameplay concept that's apparent in both its name and cabinet design. Using bold and vibrant primary colors, the cabinet components are engineered to replicate the celebratory hand gesture and turn "high-fiving" into a game. Make high fives and score.
"Speed of Light is so much fun that we decided to bring the same high-intensity gameplay to a younger age group," said LAI R&D manager Shannon Perell. "With High Five, kids get that two-player, energetic gameplay experience tailored to them in a flashy little cabinet, with the addition of rewarding, high-five hitting sound effects with each button press."
LAI Games will unveil High Five next week in Orlando, FL, at the IAAPA Attractions Expo. Visit booth No. 611 at the Orange County Convention Center Nov. 17-20.
LAI Games is part of the Helix Leisure group of companies, which also includes Embed Systems, a revenue management developer, and the Locker Network, which provides electric storage systems.
