Krispy Kreme machine earns positive reviews in Charlotte

The Krispy Kreme doughnut machine that opened in Charlotte, North Carolina, last week got a positive review from Charlotte Magazine, which is located near the machine.

The machine doughnuts come in 3-packs: The Fan Favorites (one glazed, one glazed with raspberry filling and one iced glazed with sprinkles) for $4.99; The Classics (one chocolate iced with Kreme filling, one glazed and one strawberry iced with sprinkles) for $4.99; and Original Glazed (three doughnuts) for $3.99.

The South End store the machine is in has an expanded menu that includes ice cream sandwiches, milks shakes and coffee drinks in addition to doughnuts.

The machine was provided by Digital Media Vending International Llc., according to David Ashforth, company co-founder.
