Kraft Heinz to invest $199M in UK facility

Kraft Heinz Co. plans to invest 140 million pounds ($199 million) in a food manufacturing facility located near Wigan in the U.K., according to a MarketWatch report, creating up to 50 full-time positions.

The company called it its biggest investment in an existing site outside the U.S. in more than two decades.

The company also said it will bring Heinz sauce manufacturing back to the U.K., upgrade machinery and meet its environmental, social and governance commitments.
