Kleen-Rite Corp. acquires drop-shelf vending machine maker Laurel Metal Products

Kleen-Rite Corp., a Columbia, Pennsylvania-based distributor of car wash parts and supplies, has acquired Laurel Metal Products, a Skokie, Illinois-based manufacturer of drop-shelf vending machines for car washes, for an undisclosed sum, according to a carwash.com report.

Laurel, which offers car related supplies in addition to the machines, will retain its existing management and all long-term employees.

The companies have worked together for years and the acquisition is expected to streamline the building and stocking of Laurel products and expand the Laurel brand.
