CHICAGO -- Jay Leno will headline the opening session at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's 2015 OneShow. The vending and refreshment services convention and trade show will run from April 22 through 24 at the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center.
The opening session headlined by Leno will start at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, and will also include NAMA's annual industry awards presentation and remarks by president and chief executive Carla Balakgie and board chair Pete Tullio.
Leno's tenure as host of the "Tonight Show" established him as a well-known pop-culture figure. During his long run he reached millions of Americans with his trademark sense of humor and amusing take on life resonating with viewers for nearly 20 years.
"Mr. Leno's winning sense of humor is a guaranteed treat, something I know attendees will really connect with and enjoy," said NAMA vice-president of events LyNae Schleyer. "We strive to ensure the OneShow delivers a memorable experience each and every year, and it's safe to say that, with Mr. Leno kicking things off, this year's show will be both highly valuable and wonderfully entertaining."
NAMA is expecting a turnout of more than 4,500 vending and refreshment services operators and suppliers and 250 exhibitors at this year's OneShow.
