Kevin Williams, founder and director of KWP Ltd., a consultancy, is among the digital out-of-home entertainment (DOE) specialists participating in the VR Arcade Conference. Williams, who also is publisher of The Stinger Report and chairman of the DNA Association, will present a keynote speech on VR developments. Additionally, the VR Arcade Conference has named The Stinger Report a media partner and event sponsor.
"Welcoming KWP to the mix, along with the DNA Association and The Stinger Report, offers us the ability to build a fantastic first event," said VR Arcade Conference organizer Jeremy Lam. "Kevin's considerable knowledge of this sector and extensive contacts greatly help consolidating the event."
In addition to keynotes and topical panel sessions, the VR Arcade Conference will offer a developers' boot camp to teach participants how to create content for various VR hardware platforms. The latest VR entertainment systems will be highlighted in an exhibit, too.
"The deployment of VR entertainment hardware in public spaces will be defined during the three days of the conference, and the event organizers are working toward establishing licensing partnerships between hardware and software developers, and the creation of a foundation to establish industry standards," Williams observed.
