Keurig Dr Pepper plans to introduce its Keurig Custom Smart, a Wi-Fi-enabled capsule brewer with a $399 price tag, in late October, according to an msn.com report.
The machine's software will be able to recognize the more than 800 pod varieties that Keurig manufactures, including those under license from Starbucks and Dunkin' Brands Group.
The machine will brew the pod to exact specifications, such as the water's temperature and speed through the grind and into the cup. The user can still fine-tune heat, speed and strength via a mobile app.
