Kepak Foods Division has introduced "Grab a Bite," a brand designed to provide hot, ready-to-serve food options for the out-of-home market, according to a press release. The range aims to simplify operations for food service providers by offering fully assembled, frozen products that can be prepared through a "Thaw, Heat, and Serve" process, minimizing labor and waste.
The initial product line focuses on popular burger variants, including The Barbecue Chicken Burger, The Classic Cheeseburger and The Morning Sausage and Cheese Muffin, capitalizing on research indicating burgers as a top-selling food-to-go item, particularly during breakfast and lunch. Kepak plans to expand the product range later this year.
"We are excited to announce the launch of 'Grab a Bite' into the Out of Home market," Brian Farrell, Kepak Foods Division CEO, said in the release.

The "Grab a Bite" range is designed for versatility, compatible with hot vending machines and heat-and-serve concepts. Its simplicity aims to cater to all skill levels and reduce health and safety risks. The products can be cooked in their packaging using various methods, including combi ovens, high-speed ovens and microwaves.
