Kentucky gets free Narcan vending machine

Free Narcan kits are now available outside police headquarters in Vine Grove, Kentucky, according to a wlky.com report.

Police Chief Kenneth Mattingly introduced the machine, having witnessed a woman with Narcan save a friend's life following an overdose.

The machine is believed to be the first in Kentucky.

Communicare, which operates Kentucky treatment centers, helped cover the machine's cost.
