A vending machine in downtown Kent, Ohio is offering access to free opioid overdose reversal medication, pregnancy tests, condoms and other health items, according to a Record-Courier report.

Townhall II Integrated Health Network is responsible for the vending machine, which is funded by the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County. The vending machine is available during Townhall II's lobby hours of 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

"We feel it is important our community has access to items such as these," John Garrity, executive director of the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County, told the news outlet. "In the case of Narcan and fentanyl test strips, these items can literally save lives. The board is happy to partner with Townhall II on this project."
