Industry veteran Josh Rosenberg has begun his one-year tenure as the National Automatic Merchandising Association chair, according to a press release.

Rosenberg, who joined the NAMA board in 2015 and was named Industry Person of the Year in 2016, served as president and CEO of Accent Food Services until last year, where he led a team of more than 550 employees.

Rosenberg currently serves as director at Philadelphia-based USA Bottling, a manufacturer of finished personal care products, bottled beverages and sanitation finished goods.

He began his career as a merchandiser at the Coca-Cola Co. in 1995. He led the development of Coca-Cola's North America vending sales strategy as vice president of national vending sales, prior to his ownership in Accent Food Service.

"I look forward to my role as chair, particularly at this critical time," he said in a prepared statement. "It's an honor to have the responsibility to work collaboratively on the behalf of NAMA members."
