Jones Soda acquires Pinestar Gold to expand into cannabis

Jones Soda Co. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Pinestar Gold Inc. to expand into the cannabis sector, according to a press release.

Jones Soda plans to operate its cannabis operations through one or more subsidiaries separate from its craft beverage business.

Mark Murray, president and CEO, said in an announcement last year that cannabis-infused beverages and edibles are a perfect fit for the company.
