PERALTA, Spain -- Jofemar Vending said it has delivered 100 Automated Sales Centers to Herbalife International, a Los Angeles-based multilevel marketing organization that sells nutrition products. Developed in collaboration with Greece's Filuet Group, the machines will reportedly be deployed in Brazil, Colombia, Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands and Russia.
Herbalife placed its first machine prototype, which provided customers round-the-clock access to its products, in 2012. Patrons place orders using a 32" touchscreen kiosk connected to as many as four of Jofemar's Vision E-S Plus machines. With more than a 2.25 cubic meter capacity, the machines are said to be flexible both in configuration and programming. Jofemar's large elevator delivery system can vend several products together and programmable temperature ensures optimal storage of products. The machines can support all forms of cashless payment including mobile technology.
The venders are networked through a software developed by Filuet Group that provides real-time remote access and out-of-stock alerts and support to Herbalife distributors. The machines are monitored and supported remotely through a global support center operated by Filuet, which responds to all incidents to ensure maximum machine performance and profitability.
All of the machines purchased by Herbalife are manufactured in the Jofemar plant in Peralta, Spain. Using the Filuet software, the venders can support distributors in every language.
