vending machine, Jofemar logoPERALTA, Spain -- Jofemar USA exhibited a broad spectrum of vending solutions at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's 2015 OneShow in Las Vegas. The company, a commercial subsidiary of Spain's Jofemar S.A., also introduced its new corporate image to North America after unveiling it at the Vendibérica trade fair in Madrid in mid-April.

On display in the Jofemar USA exhibit at the OneShow were the manufacturer's latest solutions for categories as varied as gourmet hot beverages, multiproduct catering and electronic merchandise. Vending operators had the opportunity to experience the functionality of the Coffeemar G250, which has been redesigned in conformity with the recently amended Americans with Disabilities Act regulations.

The stylish Coffeemar hot beverage machine features a new aluminum boiler, a capacitive keypad for product selection and an innovative pressure valve in the brewing unit.

Jofemar's Vision models were exhibited in various configurations, adaptable to the specific needs of operators. The Jofemar machines have grabbed attention in this country because of their versatility -- they are designed for easy customization to sell all kinds of merchandise. The basic configuration includes a large product delivery elevator, and accommodates all the current improvements, including banknote readers and remote monitoring devices.

A Vision Combo Plus set up to dispense cold drinks was also on display. This model is characterized by a convenient system for product delivery without conventional spirals, patented by Jofemar. Its temperature control is designed to keep the internal temperature below 5°C. (41°F.).

"We are very positive about our participation in NAMA, not only in terms of product, but also in terms of the reception of our new image," said Jofemar USA director José Francisco Iribarren.

The company's OneShow exhibit also kicked off the U.S. unit's 15th anniversary celebration, which will culminate in August. Jofemar, which was established in 1971 as an electroplating specialist, became a vending machine manufacturer in 1980. Producing a variety of venders and payment systems, the company now has a staff of more than 200 people engaged in research and development. It reports that, during the past 40 years, it has grown to serve a worldwide market. It has offices in the United Kingdom and France, and formed Jofemar USA in 2000.

The new Jofemar Vision Convenience Vender concept, which made its debut at NAMA's OneShow, is oriented toward operators serving large multiunit residential complexes, from apartment buildings to college and university dormitories. Designed to permit mix-and-match arrangements of venders for snacks, beverages, sundries (including oversized products) and food, the Vision architecture permits patrons to make multiple purchases from several venders from a single selector panel. Among the available modular venders are refrigerated food units optimized for platters created in attractive Cryovac packaging, including a new large square tray suitable for sous vide film lidding.

A novel small-footprint module that holds four microwave ovens and banks with adjacent vending machines is available to support a fresh-food vending program. When a patron purchases a refrigerated item that requires microwave reheating, the vend enables one of the ovens, identified by an indicator light. Inserting the product into the oven automatically selects the appropriate power setting. The oven must be enabled by a vend before use.

Jofemar USA is headquartered at 2200 NW 102 Ave., Unit 3, Doral, FL 33172. Information on Jofemar products and services may be found at jofemarusa.com.
