SÃO PAULO, Brazil -- Jofemar Corp., a leading international vending machine manufacturer, has established a commercial subsidiary here in order to strengthen its presence and business relationships in Brazil. The facility also allows Jofemar to optimize its sales, aftersales and maintenance services in the area.
Jofemar's growth has included steady expansion into foreign markets, with 55% of its annual $37 million in revenue currently represented by exports. The new subsidiary will speed the introduction of Jofemar's solutions in the Brazilian market.
With the recent opening in Brazil, Jofemar now has four international commercial subsidiaries, five national offices and an extensive worldwide network of official distributors. Its new São Paulo facilities are located in a metropolitan area considered one of the most important economic, financial and cultural centers of the Americas and the world.
Presiding at the São Paulo unit's grand opening were Jofemar vice-president Félix Guindulain Busto and general manager Miguel Ã_x0081_ngel Carrero.
"Customer satisfaction is a long-term commitment for Jofemar," said general manager Carrero. "Perfect service and attention to our customers requires a fast and specialized commercial network that allows flexibility in meeting the needs of professionals, something we are really optimistic about."
Company representatives presented a review of Jofemar's history since its foundation in 1971 by Félix Guindulain Vidondo, and summarized an ambitious plan to strengthen the brand in Brazil.
They also offered an update on a number of ongoing company initiatives, including the launch of the new Jofemar Health, Jofemar Energy and Jofemar Global Services divisions. They also presented the firm's new corporate image, symbolized by a redesigned logotype.
Alexandre Cassis, commercial director at Jofemar Brazil, took the opportunity to introduce Velántur Cars, a joint venture launched by Jofemar in conjunction with the Spanish company Retrofactory to manufacture 100% electric luxury vehicles.
Jofemar Brazil representatives also provided an overview of the technological solutions that Jofemar designs and manufactures exclusively at its headquarters in Peralta, Navarra, Spain and sells worldwide.
