ORRVILLE, OH -- Citing "sustained declines in green coffee costs," J. M. Smucker Co. has decreased the list price for the majority of its Folgers and Dunkin' Donuts packaged coffee brands sold in the U.S.
Effective May 24, prices decreased an average of 6%. J.M. Smucker's K-Cups were excluded from the price decrease.
"For the last several quarters, lower green coffee costs were reflected in promotional pricing for the majority of our packaged coffee products, and we do not anticipate those prices changing significantly," said Dunkin' Donuts U.S. food and beverage president Steve Oakland. "This list price decrease provides an opportunity for consumers to benefit from lower pricing on an everyday basis."
The Dunkin' Donuts brand is licensed to J. M. Smucker for packaged coffee products sold in mass merchandise, club, grocery and drug stores, among other retail channels, and does not include products sold in the coffee chain's shops.
