JM Smucker creates sweet baked snacks group, names Dan O’Leary VP/GM

The J. M. Smucker Co. has created a strategic business area, Sweet Baked Snacks, which includes the Hostess and Voortman brands, and has named Dan O'Leary senior vice president and general manager of the sweet baked snacks and pet businesses, effective immediately, according to a press release. The company has also announced a series of leadership changes to support the business following the closing of its acquisition of Hostess Brands.

The new structure includes strategic businesses reporting to John Brase, chief operating officer.

Rob Ferguson has been named senior vice president and general manager, coffee procurement, overseeing the Folgers, Dunkin and Café Bustelo brands.

Rebecca Scheidler, senior vice president and general manager of frozen handheld and spreads, will continue to oversee the Smuckers Uncrustables, Jif and Smuckers brands.

The company's away from home and international, which inclues the Canadian business, will continue to be managed by Tim Wayne, senior vice president of away from home and international.
