MIRAMAR BEACH, FL -- The Southeastern Vending Association will welcome comedian Jim Breuer to its upcoming convention, which takes place Aug. 9-11 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa here.

Named one of Comedy Central's "100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time," Breuer is known for his charismatic stage antics, dead-on impressions and family-friendly material. He is also known for his time on Saturday Night Live as "Goat Boy" and his impersonations of actor Joe Pesci. Breuer has starred in numerous films, including "Zookeeper" and "Titan A.E."

The SEVA meeting is expected to attract more than 250 participants from more than 50 vending companies. Brewer performs on Wednesday night, Aug. 10. See the complete agenda at southeastvending.org.

SEVA is comprised of six state vending association representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Originally formed in 1981 as the Vending Machine Association of the Gulf South, the organization's purpose was to merge the annual tri-state convention held by the Alabama Vending Association, Mississippi Automatic Merchandising Association and Vending Machine Operators of Louisiana. In 2003, the Georgia Automatic Merchandising Council joined the organization followed by the Tennessee Automatic Merchandising Association and the Automatic Merchandising Association of Florida. Due to the growing participation in VMAGS, the group's name was changed to Southeastern Vending Association to better represent all of its members.
