TOKYO -- Sanritsu Co.'s tea vending machine delivers authentic Japanese tea at the touch of a button and is now available in the U.S. The company showcased it at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's OneShow in Las Vegas last week.
The machine, which can be fitted with a payment mechanism, offers two selections of tea, along with a pure water option. The user can select hot or chilled tea. The tea is provided in powdered form, stored in refillable cartridges that each hold up to 300g. product.
The tea dispenser has two tanks housed underneath, with a total 26-liter capacity, along with a reserve 5-liter tank on top from which it draws if the main tanks are depleted. It can also be plumbed into a water line.
The compact dispenser measures 57.1" H. x 17.7" W. x 19.7" D. and weighs 154 lbs.
