Japanese vending machine specializes in eel

Where else but Japan can you buy eel from a vending machine?

A Tokyo restaurant, Uomasa, has an outdoor vending machine that specializes in eel, according to a soranews24.com report.

Offerings on the top row of the machine feature Domestic Unagi Shirayaki for 4,000 yen ($29.12) while the middle row has Brand Eel Kabayaki for 5,000 yen ($36.40) and the bottom row has Domestic Eel Kabayaki for 4,000 yen ($29.12).

The eel comes in vacuum packed bags that the customer opens, then places the eel in boiling water. The eel comes with packs of sauce and pepper.
