Japanese tire lot becomes vending machine tourist attraction

A used tire lot in Japan has become a tourist attraction for its collection of old vending machines, most of which are still working, according to a report in The Mainichi.

The Tire Ichiba dealership in Sagamihara's Minami Ward features 112 machines which offer a variety of food, including candy, hot soba, hot udon noodles, bottled fizzy drinks and burgers.

The shop hauled vintage machines from other prefectures after they started to become an attraction of their own.
