A Japanese oyster farm has installed vending machines to offset COVID-19 related losses, according to a seafoodsource.com report.
Farm Suzuki, based in Hiroshima, introduced two oyster vending machines beginning in 2021 selling fried oysters, raw oysters on the half-shell and raw tiger shrimp along with a microwave to reheat the fried oysters.
One machine is in the Toranomon Hills Business Tower in Tokyo while the other is in a Hiroshima souvenir shop.
