Jack Link's, a Minong, Wisconsin based manufacturer of beef jerky, will build a $450 million factory in Perry, Georgia, hiring 800 workers when it opens in 2023, according to a Madison.com report.
Kevin McAdams, North American president, said the company considered more than 30 sites nationwide.
The company is immediately hiring a plant manager, human relations manager, controller, plant engineer and food safety and quality director.
The company will also double the size of its factory in Alpena, South Dakota, and is adding facilities in Underwood, Iowa and Minong, Wisconsin. The company also has facilities in Germany, Brazil and New Zealand.
