Ireland meat producer debuts branded hot food vending machine

Kepak, an Ireland-based producer of meat brands, has introduced its Hot Vend Kiosk, a Kepak-branded machine from Automated Retail Technologies, maker of the Just Baked Smart Bistro machine in the U.S., according to a press release.

The machine can hold up to 52 of its Cook-In-Box branded items which include Cheese Melt, Breakfast Muffin and Peri Peri Chicken burgers.

"Through the ongoing support of Automated Retail Technologies, our partners on this landmark project, we've been able to introduce this ground-breaking technology to the U.K. market, initially in Luton and Stanstead airports but we also have plans to target other busy sectors including mass transit, higher education and forecourts across the country," Carl Hunter, new business controller of the foods division at Kepak, said in the press release. "The new Hot Vend Kiosk offers both customers and consumers an easy, fuss-free way to enjoy hot food on-the-go 24/7, with touchscreen pay and go and quick dispense technology."
