ST. LOUIS, MO -- Intercard reports that it will showcase its innovative multifunction debit card technology for amusement businesses at the 20th annual CinéShow 2018 in Dallas, TX, on Aug. 29. The show is organized by the Theatre Owners of Mid-America.
Intercard observed that, as the movie exhibition industry evolves, increasing numbers of theater owners are creating "theater entertainment centers" combining movies with arcade games, laser tag and other attractions that provide fun for families and increase revenues. This trend has increased the need for technology to help proprietors manage, maintain and secure these more sophisticated amusement operations.
"Intercard has a growing group of satisfied customers in the exhibition industry," said Intercard chief executive Scott Sherrod. "Our technology is helping some of the leading exhibitors in the country, including B&B Theatres, Cinergy Entertainment Group, Marcus Theatres, Santikos Theatres and Schulman's Movie Bar Grille to boost revenues and take advantage of new trends and audiences."
