ST. LOUIS, MO -- Intercard points out that, as the motion picture exhibition industry evolves, more and more theater owners are evolving into "theater entertainment centers" that offer not only movies but a range of attractions that provide fun for families, build traffic and strengthen profitability. This has increased the need for cashless technology to help proprietors manage, maintain and secure larger and more sophisticated amusement operations.
For this reason, Bill Allen and Jason Mitchell of Intercard will attend the 21st annual CineShow in Dallas on Aug. 28. Hosted by the Theatre Owners of MidAmerica, CineShow is the region's premiere trade show, highlighting innovative products, services and technologies that help cinema operators enhance the moviegoing experience. It's set for the Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel Convention Center.
"Intercard has many satisfied customers in the exhibition industry," said Intercard chief executive Scott Sherrod. "We invite showgoers to learn how our technology helps leading companies like Cinergy Entertainment Group, Schulman's Movie Bar Grille and Santikos Theatres take advantage of new trends and audiences."
CineShow visitors can see Intercard's innovative technology in Booth #311. On display will be the new iTeller Element, a self-service kiosk designed for route operators and arcades with fewer than 30 games. Also in the spotlight will be Intercard's versatile i3 reader and the Edge Mobile App Collection for arcade management. Prospective showgoers desiring to make an appointment with North America sales manager Bill Allen are encouraged to email him at ballen@intercardinc.com.
Intercard, which was founded in 1979, is a market leader in cashless technology for the amusement and attraction industries, with hundreds of systems, thousands of readers and millions of cards in use in more than 4,000 locations around the world, supported by branches in Europe and Asia.
