Ingenico Group introduces smart payment device for vending

Ingenico Group, a payments provider, has introduced Smart Self for Vending, devices designed to enable operators to interact digitally with customers, according to a press release. The devices offer real time reporting, transactions management and payments processing.

Smart Self for Vending harnesses Ingenico's new PCI PTS V5 hardware range, meaning it can accept all cashless payment methods such as QR codes while operating as a secure gateway with 99.99% availability. It also boasts advanced acquiring capabilities and accepts payments in more than 20 different currencies.

The devices meet SCA/PSD2 requirements as well as European Vending Association and National Automatic Merchandising Association standards.
