Industry loses Myrna Dorfman of Allstar Vending

Myrna Dorfman, owner of Allstar Vending, an amusement machine company in Montreal, Canada, recently passed away.

Alicia Lavay, brand director of Vending Times, has fond memories of Dorfman.

"I first met Myrna in the mid 1990's at the ATEI vending and Amusement show at Earls Court in London," Lavay said. "The bulk vending industry was (then) a predominantly male industry, and we had an instant connection. She taught me so much about being a strong courageous woman, in business, and in life. We kept in touch in recent years after I sold my company, and she continued to help me navigate through many of life's inevitable changes that she had already experienced. I will miss our talks."
